Behavioral Health Service for Acute Psychiatric and Dual Diagnosis
Disorders
…provides psychiatric
treatment to individuals from ages 18 to the elderly with acute
major psychiatric and dual diagnosis disorders. The programs offer a
variety of therapeutic experiences designed to support individuals
during the acute phases of their illness. The multidisciplinary team
consists of a psychiatrist, psychiatric nurses, social workers,
activities therapist and mental health technicians working together
to provide quality care to our clients.
25 bed Geriatric Service treating individuals age 60
and older. The treatment team is highly skilled in dealing with not
only the psychiatric needs but also many of the special concerns of
this population.
25 bed Dual Diagnosis Service treating adult clients
with both psychiatric and substance abuse disorders. Individuals
requiring methadone treatment during their acute psychiatric illness
can be treated on this service.
23 bed Psychiatric Service offering intensive
treatment to clients with acute major psychiatric disorders.
